A 68 years old mentally unsound man had difficulty passing urine. So he cut off his penis, Nanyang Siang Pau and China Press reported.
The man only identified as Yap, later underwent a corrective surgery after family members rushed him to the hospital in Ipoh.
The doctors could not re-attach the severed part.
The dailies reported that Yap was babbling when he was rushed to the hospital.
He was in stable condition although he continued to have fever.
I guess that must really hurt, but its too late...
